yes i know yet another Estee Lauder product.  I cant help it i love Estee Lauder products.  If you haven't tried them yet trust me you will really love it too.  Its not 'your mothers makeup brand' anymore.

Ok here is the story about these squeezy tubes of beautiful yummy colors.  Last xmas in macy's i played around with these and was extremely impressed by the pigmentation.  I tried on THREE different colors and they were all extremely pigmented and left a lovely shine to the lips (thats what lipglosses do duh Lyn) but to my surprise they were not sticky. 

Unfortunately though at that time i did not purchase any.  Just recently i went around by foot trying to purchase a few colors and dont ya know i could not find any! They have been replaced by the lip lacquers which i have also reviewed and swatched one in color mirror mauved ... pls read here ---> Estee Lauder Pure Color Lip Lacquer

These retail for 18.50 US dollars.  Flash dance is a pretty soft pink, your lips but much better like a ballerina pink.

Lolita on the subway

I was stuck underground for about 54 mins on the subway one morning... yay! ;/  and i felt a slight axiety attack coming on so i decided to play around with some of my editing and video apps... this is what i got

Lets face it the major appeal (for me at least) is the packaging.  Who could turn down purple packaging with a majestic unicorn... NOT I!

This color is a salmon pink.  It was really hard for me to photograph the true color of this shade.  It IS  a pink but with orangey undertones.  Its VERY pigmented but for what ever reason it settles into my bottom lips fine lines.  However i blotted the bottom with a tissue and it solved the problem. 

Over all i really like the lipstick.  Especially the packaging.  I just HAD to own at least one Lime Crime lipstick.

I love Estee Lauder products.  These are extremely pigmented lip glosses.  I suppose that's why the company refers to them as lacquers instead of lipgloss.   They are slightly sticky but nothing too bad.

Laduree Macaroons New York City

if you ever plan a visit to NYC , this is one place you will want to put on your "things to do" list.   there is only one Laduree in the US and its right in my town.  I have never had a macaroon and finally decided it was time.  

ok, ok i can't lie! it was the hello kitty collaboration with Laduree last year that had me rush in to see if there was anything left to purchase lol.  

now that the truth is out lets continue.

the store is located on the upper east side.  on 864 Madison avenue between 70th and 71st streets.   

take the #6 to 68th hunter college 

 the famous Laduree Macaroons are imported from Paris daily.  at 2.80 a piece they are well worth the fee.  The outer shell is crisp and fresh and the inner is creamy and full of flavor.  

of course other pastries and sorbet are sold here as well as candles, makeup, and few other lovely gift items.

Being a huge Hello Kitty fan of course i had to pick up one of the four  Hello Kitty plushes dressed as an Ugly doll.  The one i chose is called Ox.  This is the small one which retails for 21.78 US dollars in the Sanrio Store.  And i couldn't resist the comic book from the fashion music wonderland collection which retails for 6.99.  These were first released at the Comic Con in San Diego and some of the things made it to stores and online.   View more here ---> http://www.sanrio.com/ugly-doll-hello-kitty
