Too often Anna Sui makeup products are overlooked. These products are considered high end and so are priced accordingly. But beside amazing packaging, which are made to have an antique look to them, the makeup is great quality and highly pigmented. Only negative is the scent. Most of products have a very strong rose scent.
The loose face powder below in color 700 is ideal for medium skin tones to set any foundation makeup or can be worn alone. It does contain very light glitter particles that will give your face a shimmer glowy look or a satin finish. If you have an oiler complexion i would not recommend this shade you may perfer to have a more matte finish and you are medium in tone there is color 701 you can also look into.

Aww your vanity is so pretty! You're right, I actually overlook Anna Sui all the time cos I think they're just form without substance! Never realised they sold amazing products underneath their fancy packaging!
ReplyDeleteI've never used a loose powder with glitter particles before. Do you find it gives you a subtle glow? I have oily skin, so I'm really scared to look like a mega greaseball if I wear too much glitter on my face!

it will give a glow if you have oily skin i wouldnt recommend powder with glitter... at all! i would stick to matte formulas and if you wanted a glow look wear a nice highlight on your cheekbone instead :D

ReplyDeleteHi Tina... the one with the floral packaging right? That is by STELLA. it was a limited collection packing purchased from sephora many years ago. But im sure if you wanted you can find on amazon. There were other patterns as well.
