living proof nourishing styling cream for curly hair

 

If you havent already figured it out I HAVE CURLY HAIR... :D I love my curly hair but i love BIG FLUFFY CURLS !

For many many years I struggled with my hair and did not know how to properly care for it so I didn't always embrace my curls. ]

Oh how the times have changed... There are so many fantastic products out there for our kind of hair.  AND THANK GOODNESS! for the CURLY GIRL METHOD! stay tuned for a future blog on the curly girl method, basically it's using as little to no silicone or sulfate products on your hair. 

The Living Proof Nourishing Styling Cream  was introduced to me in one of my earlier MYGLAM bags.  Im glad i finally decided to use this because I am truley loving it.   It leaves my hair bouncy, soft and shiny.  

You currently can find this at  SEPHORA.  A 4oz retails for 26 US dollars and I just noticed on the online website they offer an 8oz for 36 US dollars (pft wish I had known that before).

If you are still enrolled in MYGLAM you can purchase a trial kit with a 4oz styling cream, a 2oz sized shampoo, and a 2oz conditioner for 35 US dollars. 

 Since it is being sold at sephora and there are sephoras just about everywhere in the US, its worth at least to get a little sample and trying it out for yourself.

I <3 HELLO KITTY!!!

IM A HUGE HELLO KITTY FANATIC! I have been for as long as I can remember... and somehow I dont think that will EVER change... dont judge me :P

Well anyways I realized with all the hundreds of bags I have I do NOT own a single Hello Kitty bag thats not 'kiddy like'.

One day while watching a youtube channel that I follow luvpinkhellokitty  

(for all things hello kitty and Louis Vuitton check out her channel I also recommend  lovehellokitty2much they both have great HK and LV hauls)

She hauled a fabulous grown up Hello Kitty Bag! 

I fell in love with it but as much a I loved her PINK Hello Kitty Bag I waited and im sooo glad I did! 

Sanrio recently came out with their Fall Bag collection and I just HAD to have this one... FYI animal prints are going to be VERY big this Fall.

This bag is easily found at sanrio.com.  Retail price $85- US dollars... holy moly thats a ton of mula but for any Hello Kitty luvr/collector its well worth it.

HOWEVER!

That's not where I purchased my bag, as many of you will learn I am a BARGAIN shopper! I will rarely pay full price for things.  I found the very same bag on  BAGHAUS.

MY NEW FACE CLEANSING SYSTEM

UPDATE: MAY 2013-  I broke out horribly from this set :( .  If you have oily combo skin and you want to try this set chose a section of your face to test it first. 

So I got a NEW face cleansing system... ok correction... I got A face cleansing system.  I never felt the need to have one before.   I just used proactive deep cleansing wash (love that) and then I moved on to some LUSH cleansing products but that was it.  

One day i was watching QVC and Josie Maran ( a former model) was on promoting this system... I fell for it lol.  No actually,  I listened to what they were saying and i started to get a little excited that maybe my face would benefit from it too!  

This particular set combination and amount of product is only sold on QVC for 65.64 + tax and shipping.  You can also find these products separately at Sephora.

I have combination, oily skin and when I was in my early 20's I had HORRIBLE acne especially on my cheeks.  For many years I was so afraid of using lotions or serums for fear of the acne returning.  However,  I do realize,  I am getting older and its time to start taking better care of my skin.  I am very fortunate to have very few signs of wrinkles but my skin has gotten really dull and very BLAH.  

ARGAN OIL IS SAID TO BE GREAT FOR YOUR FACE, HAIR, AND HANDS AND CUTICLES... we shall see. After a few weeks I will do a separate blog on how these work out ...

a lovely travel size body wash from BATH AND BODY WORKS.  I love saving these and traveling with them.  This scent is Pink Chiffon a soft flora scent.

I LOVE THIS HAWAIIAN TROPIC SUNTAN LOTION.  I am not new to this product.  I love it and have raved about it on my summer favorites video and blog post check it out here...SUMMER FAVORITES

In the past I have used veet lotion hair removal products.  They NEVER worked for me.  I got this right after I waxed everything off lol so im not ready to test this out and review it...  I will do a separate blog post on this and share if its effective. TBC

This is the NEW discovery. How many times have I walked by NYC in riteaid or cvs and have never even glanced at these products.  This lipgloss in color NUDE YORK CITY.  Is a great peachy nude with a slight vanilla scent.  Its very glossy and shiny and not sticky at all.  I love it! Its great over any color you wanna spice up or just on its own.

I watch a youtube channel thestylechronicles and she was ALWAYS talking about how upset she was that she missed on CANDY YUM-YUM.  So of course naturally I was super curious on the color but it was discontinued never to be found...ever...again. Then BAM it was voted to be brought back until supplies lasted and you bet your BUM i took advantage and purchased these 2 colors. 

 

 

 

 

CANDY YUM-YUM - is a matte blue based pink.  Its described as a 'cute neon pink' on the mac website.  I dont feel its a unique mac color. 

MOXIE-  on the mac website Moxie is described as a "bright matte pink" however on my medium skin tone it's more of a red.
