FAO SCHWARZ

The oldest toy store in the United States, first opened at its current location on 5th ave in 1931 will be closing its doors on July 15th,  2015.  LE SIGH.  How sad is that?!  I go every December.  I like to walk up 5th ave stop at the lighted tree, St Patrick's Cathedral, look at all the store windows dressed for Christmas and final stop? you guessed it... FAO Schwarz!

Its the best toy store EVER!   It's a kid and big kids... aka me... toy wonderland with the over sized (and over priced) stuffed animals and countless toys every where.  Its very different from ToysRUs its hard to explain, its better experienced.  Any ways depending on which store associate i spoke to one said the store will reopen in another location and a different associate was like "who knows!"
