NYC Orchard Beach

Hey guys it's Summa time that means staycation time and spots to visit in your own city.  Unless of course you A.  have the means to travel  and B. have folks to travel with...

This summer's first stop is ... CHOCHA BEACH ... my bad did i say chocha?  i meant ORCHARD BEACH!
(if you grew up in the BX especially around the 80's you KNOW why its called that!)

HOW TO GET TO ORCHARD IF YOU WANT TO BRAVE IT:

1.  Take the 6 train to the last stop Pelham Bay there you take the 12 Bus towards orchard.
2.  Take the #2 line to Pelham Pkway take the 12 Bus towards Orchard. If you get confused just ask the locals (lol)

ok guys brief 411 on Orchard Beach.  Its not really a beach ok its a Bay.  Its a man made "beach" done like in the 30's.  This ish is BIG yes there is plenty of space but most of the rowdy &ghetto fabulous will congregate towards the center.
So my suggestion stay at the ends!

There is a picnic area for bbq'n, a paddle ball area and FREE concerts.
If you ever wanna visit and need more information check out the link ---> more orchard beach info

For my locals who are afraid to visit the beach cause you are still traumatized from when you were little... ITS NOT SO BAD... anymore!

SUGGESTION! Go EARLY on a weekday.  Walk towards the end/outer sections for more peace.  You want to go on the weekends? Go at your own risk... hahaha kidding... no not really.

bus stop entry

notice last bus leaves at 7:30 otherwise your ass in stranded

bring your own toilet paper!!! trust me when i tell you! also bring wipies and hand santizer.  There is almost never any soap!

Imagine this is open.  You can purchase hot dogs and soda.  I advice you bring your own snacks and food

plenty of lifeguards to save you from the 1/2 foot of water.  You would have to walk miles upon miles to get mid thigh deep... mejeje

see its clean!

look for these throughout the beach to clean off your feet and other body parts! Not the darn sinks the sand clogs them up people! ugh

STILA EYE SHADOW IN GRACE

I liked Kitten so much i decided to go check out the other shades and Grace was like BAM!  Look at me, look at me, swatch me! You will LUBA ME!  and i was like alrighty.  So i did... and then i bought it.

KITTEN is a shimmery nude pink.  Great for the lid, inner corner or even on the tops of your cheeks.  GRACE however is a taupe-ish nude. Its very pretty actually.  On me is pulls just a tad bit on the lilac side. I wear this one all over the eye for a quick color.

Pink Grafea Camera Bag

i take pictures... my camera needed a chic home... pink + camera bag = mine... the end

Did a search for cool pink camera bags and this came up.  Its a company from the UK that makes leather goods.  Sorry to all my vegan folks.  Shipping was extremely fast especially considering its an international ship.  There was no tax or shipping charges HOWEVER when the ups guy came i was told i needed to make a 28 dollar payment by bank check or money order.  I didnt know that!  The website does mention a possible tariff fee but its like a guessing game trying to figure out how much to make a money order out to... that was a lil annoying.

The bag itself is nicely made.  The color was a bit darker then i had hoped though because it looked much lighter online.  Its also pretty big and bulky.  Yall can check out the price and other items from grafea here ---->  GRAFEA

Mac Blot Powder

If you have oily skin and during the summer it gets even oiler ?! I highly recommend Mac's blot powder.  Trust me,  i'm a total oil slick and this stuff works well!
It feels light on my skin and it doesn't get cakey either.

JOSIE MARAN COCONUT WATERCOLOR EYE SHADOW IN PLAYA DEL PINK

this definitely separates so you will need to shake shake shake it VERY well

this shade reminds a ton of my maybelline color tattoo in barely beige but with a slight pinkier tone

Its VERY pretty.  I also used it as a highlight on the tops of my cheeks.
