Dooney & Bourke Mini Florentine Satchel

Hey guys here is a bag I bought myself for my Birthday coming up on FEB 5th YAY!  Ive been wanting an all vachetta purse and honestly the only brand I found that provided these are Dooney & Bourke.  

Vachetta leather is the same natural leather you will find on the Louis Vuitton monogram bags.

Ok here is the deal:  I looked for this mini satchel in this color natural on the macys website and on QVC.  Neither had these when i was looking so i had to purchase mine off the DB website.

RANT!

I am not happy with the experience i had with the company.  When i purchased the bag it was listed as IN STOCK.  As usual i received the email confirmation that i made the purchase and that was it!  one week went by two weeks went by and no emails saying anything else about my purchase!  

So i went online to check on the status and there was no update on the website so i called the company and not only were they not helpful they were actually rude as if i was bothering them and big deal i haven't gotten my bag yet.  UM NO you guys thats bad service.  

What had happened was even though it was listed as IN STOCK it actually wasn't.  It was back ordered but the company made no attempt in letting me know WTF.  I had to do all the work and pull info out of their mouths.  

I even emailed them about the item and i only got a response a day before it arrived telling my it was shipped SMH.  Im sorry folks but that is NOT  how a big company treats their customers.  I will NOT be buying online from them in a very very very long time if ever!

This beautiful bag retails for 318+ tax and the company offers Dooney Pay similar to QVC.   Of course i chose the Dooney Pay option and will pay in 3 installments.

Purchased in Sephora a Becca mineral blush in the color NIGHTGALE.

-extremely pigmented
-a burgundy smooth blush
-makes your cheek look like you've been out in the brisk cold

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eye Shadow Palette + SWATCHES

This is the Newest Too Faced Palette and i love it.  The packaging is perfection! Its Pink! PINK! and the eye shadow pans are in the shape of hearts.  I mean come on folks.  Its worth the 49 US dollars for that alone. 

The shadows themselves are very nice and soft not spectacular but very good.  These however dont have the fabulous chocolate smell when you first open the palette or apply the shadows like the original chocolate bar palette le sigh.

Burberry Thomas Bear -Blush Pink-

My Christmas present to mysef!

My very first Burberry piece and definitely not my last.  I am officially hooked. 

I love this little bear its just precious and the color is just a lovely pink. 

There are three pinks this season a hot pink, this one in blush pink and a very light pink in ash pink. 

I totally wanted the ash pink however its sold out!

These retail for 150 US dollars + tax.  Of course there are a ton other color but as you may or may not know i am partial to pink.  

The body of the bear is made of 100% cashmere with with leather and polyamide trims.  

I must add that the clip is a bit narrow and will not fit over a larger surface.

Tom Ford Lip color matte in Plum Lush swatch

dont mind my dark circles

I finally got the courage to purchase a Tom Ford Lipstick.  These are expensive they retail for 52 US dollars and honestly i dont see what the big whoop is...

I chose the color Plum Lush, a matte berry color.  It feels nice and comfortable but its not matte by any means more like a satin.

Will i purchase any others? that depends.

NYBG Train Show at Night 2015

Once again its that time of the year... The New York Botanical Garden's annual train show 2015.  This year i decided to go towards night time to check it out and boy its a completely different experience.  Its absolutely beautiful!

The advantage of going during the day is that you can access more of the park, there are way more activities, carolers and food goodies still available in the food shops.  However its very rare being at the garden during the night and it completely transforms with all the beautiful lights.  There is a creepy awesomeness about it.

There are a few things i feel obligated to mention because for the very time i experineced really bad customer service at the garden.
   1.  The prices shown online are NOT the prices you will be expected to pay.  During the holiday train show they bump up the prices for everyone to 28 US Dollars.
   2.  If you are a member you can NOT use your guest passes.  So please do not gift them to anyone they will not be honored and the managers will NOT extend any courtesys.  I had the NOT pleasure of meeting a manager Alexis Davis.  Sheesh she was so condescending yuck.
