if you ever plan a visit to NYC , this is one place you will want to put on your "things to do" list.   there is only one Laduree in the US and its right in my town.  I have never had a macaroon and finally decided it was time.  

ok, ok i can't lie! it was the hello kitty collaboration with Laduree last year that had me rush in to see if there was anything left to purchase lol.  

now that the truth is out lets continue.

the store is located on the upper east side.  on 864 Madison avenue between 70th and 71st streets.   

take the #6 to 68th hunter college 

 the famous Laduree Macaroons are imported from Paris daily.  at 2.80 a piece they are well worth the fee.  The outer shell is crisp and fresh and the inner is creamy and full of flavor.  

of course other pastries and sorbet are sold here as well as candles, makeup, and few other lovely gift items.

Being a huge Hello Kitty fan of course i had to pick up one of the four  Hello Kitty plushes dressed as an Ugly doll.  The one i chose is called Ox.  This is the small one which retails for 21.78 US dollars in the Sanrio Store.  And i couldn't resist the comic book from the fashion music wonderland collection which retails for 6.99.  These were first released at the Comic Con in San Diego and some of the things made it to stores and online.   View more here ---> http://www.sanrio.com/ugly-doll-hello-kitty

This years collection is very different from last year and it includes home accessories! Yea HOME ACCESSORIES!  However,  Im sad to report that even though there were tons of folks messaging forever21 the company did NOT make sizes larger than size large :/.

FAST FORWARD 
Three years later... 2015.  Ive sold many of these pieces on ebay and what i have kept i can honestly say are still in very good condition for Forever21 quality.
