Chanel Medium Elastic Flap handbag

My very first Chanel handbag was a vintage medium preloved classic flap in lambskin with bekko resin.  Beautiful bag but because it was in a light beige color and in lambskin,  i used the bag THREE times in two years.

So i sold it!   Eventually i used that money and bought this one BUT i first wanted to do my homework on it and i quickly learned there is little to no info on the Chanel Elastic flap bags.

These bags were released in 2012 and there were two sizes medium and large (or I've seen referred to also as jumbo.  This here is the medium with no pocket in the back but the larger one does have a pocket.  They retailed for 2300 and 3300 USD.   If I'm not mistaken there were four colors a beige, a burgundy as shown here, black and a green.

Beautiful bag you guys.  I do wish the smaller one also had a pocket in the back but oh well.   I wanted a non traditional Chanel handbag that still had some classic Chanel features like the iconic  CC closure and some aspect of quilting which this bag has.  This is the burgundy color but to me throws more brown.   The chain is thin but i believe substantial.    However this bag is rather small and doesn't hold much inside.  😑​


As mentioned above i bought this preloved from Fashionphile in very good condition except for one minor detail.

The NYX formula is the most liquidy one of the bunch.  I find the Anastasia to have the best formula because its not as sticky.  

Colourpop Haul Brady, Muse, Times Square swatches

Hi guys sorry not the best post BUT wanted to share my small Fall colour pop haul.  The shades in today's mix are two super shock eyeshadows in Brady and Muse and one liquid lipstick in Times square.  All these shades are in a pinky, mauve shade.  Very very pretty.   

Below i have included the only blush shade i own by Colourpop which i love in the color between the sheets.  I think this shade goes well with this fall collection. 

Bite Beauty Multistick in ALMOND

This Bite Beauty multistick is a must! I am so very happy with the product.  It can be used on eyes, cheeks and lips.  It glides nicely on the cheeks, very blendable and on the lips its long lasting and semi matte but not drying.  The packaging is simple and chic and i especially love the magnetic top. 

Lets talk about the color real quick.  Almond is a dark brown with reddish undertones.  This color is PERFECT for the fall and early winter.  It retails for 24- US dollars.  I purchased mine from sephora. 

Now... i have heard some folks not too happy with the shape of the lipstick because its flat and they're having a hard time getting precision on their lips but i didn't have any problems putting it on. 

Ive only had it for about 2 weeks but i totally recommend it.  Also please note this is a pretty natural product and has a shelf life of 2 years. SWEET! 

On cheeks and lips not on eyes.  My eyes are looking pretty froggy in this pic 😐

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM

My sister invited me to go to the

​in NYC.   She bought the tickets off of someone who couldn't make it last minute.  I had no idea what to expect! 
 But i quickly learned it was a bit popular and all SOLD OUT. 

The area it was in is my fav... the meatpacking district.  Side note you guys this is where the new Whitney museum was moved to about a year ago.  Smart move on their part,  because the meat packing district is a fun, young, and hip area to be in and there is soooo much to do and see. 

IE:  the high line, major shopping, a million galleries etc etc

(please note I use the past tense on this post  because its a "pop up" "museum" and only around till Sept 10th 2016... i think) 

The tickets were 18 bucks each.  The wait in line was much longer than your walk through inside.  It took longer inside though because they gather you up into small groups and keep you from advancing into the other rooms until the group ahead of you is done.  

Honestly i was like "um thats it?! 😶" 

But you do get to taste a cup of ice-cream when you first walk in (i learned later the ice creams change daily.  Like one day it was an ice cream sandwich, the next its blah blah blah)  and at the end you get a cone with no sprinkles.  I think that was because they used all the sprinkles for the sprinkles pool.  Just kidding its not real sprinkles but little bits of colorful plastic. 😜​

The Whitney is right next door.   That's 18 bucks (for students) and probably a better deal but whatevers i had a nice bonding time with my sister.

What I'm trying to say is if you missed it don't feel bad you didn't miss much i promise.  Just IG #museumoficecream
and you'll feel like you were there.
