SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT PURPLE LIP PRODUCT
Im on the hunt for the perfect PURPLE lipgloss and lipstick. February is just a few weeks away MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! YAY! and purple is my birth color. Soooo for whatever reason every February i get a little obsessed with finding purple things and this year that is lip products.
On a recent Sephora run, I noticed a really purple looking lip gloss by Buxom. Now i do NOT try on lip glosses for sanitary reasons. Lipsticks are pretty easy to sanitize but not lip glosses. As a result, I went with my shopping gut and purchased the purple Buxom lip gloss. I love Buxom lip products especially the Big and Healthy Lip Creams... I own several.
They are very creamy, nicely pigmented not sticky and have a nice cool tingly sensation to them that I like. They also smell sweet and yummy. They retail for 19- US dollars.
The color i chose is Purple Haze. But since my lips are naturally pigmented, it changed the color a little to look a bit more pinky but it does have a purple undertone.
THE SEARCH CONTINUES...

SWEETHEARTS PERFECT FLUSH BLUSH
TOO FACED
SWEETHEARTS Perfect Flush Blush
- A peachy pink shimmer blush
- Best for lighter skin tones
- Retails for 29- US dollars
My personal opinion: Although I LOVE the packaging and the overall look of this blush unfortunately i have to give it a huge thumbs down! WHY?!?! you ask? Its not a very pigmented blush. If you are a medium or for all you mac folks NC30 or darker this will barely show up on you :(. You can slightly build it up OR you can wear it over a cream based blush to get the pretty highlighting effect if does have... (Its too peachy to be a highlighter). However for my lighter skinned lovelies this should suit you just right. On another note there are two other blushes i can think of that are pretty similar to this one with better pigmentation you can try...

CHANEL POWDER BLUSH 68 ROSE ECRIN
I am a medium skin tone this particular color is barely visible on my cheeks. Please keep that in mind if you are medium or darker. However since i now own this lovely light pink shade I will layer it over a similar shade creme blush.
I would imagine this would be a lovely flush of color on lighter skin tones.
