 I took my mama to the MET today Can yall believe she's never been to the MET?!  Well thats pretty common.  So many times we dont take advantage of the cities we live in and visit famous landmarks or the museums.  Often time we think its just not affordable but i have good news, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is based on donations.  You give what you can, art should be available to everyone!

You guys this museum is huge.  Its located on 85 on 5th ave.  Take the 4,5 or 6 to 86th street and walk.  Because i went with my mom, she gets tired quickly, we mostly kept it to the first floor and the American wing.  The following photos are from those areas...

When you enter the museum, to the right you will find the Egyptian section and to the left Greek and Roman.

These are the actual interiors of real homes from different centuries.  The first three photos below are from the 16th century.  Everything was so small back then.

Leave it to me to find a tiny kitty in a large painting.  MEOW

You guys! no photos please! oops pics are not allowed in special exhibitions like the Van Gogh Irises and Roses.  There were like 4-5 paintings my mom was NOT impressed.  She said "you can do better!"  Gasp!

I picked this up from the sephora website.  The compact is a beautiful light pink compact and the product itself is a soft waxy product.  It feels alot like the Benefit POREfessional.  It has that type of consistency except it's in compact form.   

The new touche eclat claims to blur or soften skin's imperfections.  You can use it under makeup or as a mattifyer.  Its suppose to be ideal for all skin types and all skin tones.  

Honestly guys i didnt notice any difference in my skin.  I do get very, very oily tzone and this did help mattify but it didnt last very long. 

It comes with a really nice applicator except you cant leave it in the compact because it wont close.  You'll have to find somewhere else to store it and im not really feeling that.

BAN.DO -17 Month Classic Florabunda Agenda

Yeah got another agenda.  They're coming out earlier and earlier these days.  Anyways i was on instagram and saw this particular one by Ban.do.  I usually buy the Kate Spade ones but they keep coming out with the same ones over and over again...
