APRIL 2014 WANTABLE INTIMATE BOX

 

 Oye you guys i got sucked into yet another monthly subscription!  tsk tsk  

I was watching sam schuerman and she got sent all three box choices and i was like uhhhhh ahhhhhhh and bingo bango i decided to try the intimate box. 

How it works:  The Wantable montly box gives you the choice of makeup, intimates or accessories.  I have plenty of makeup and accessories so i took the quiz for the intimates.  There was a hiccup in the beginning when i first signed up.  They took my money but no box!  So i emailed them and very quickly they sent me my box AND they gave me 10 bucks toward my next months box.  Thats super cool.  A+ for customer service. 

How much:  Im not sure actually lol.  I believe its 40 dollars but your first box you pay 36.  Thats how much i paid 36.  Which is bad but um this box was all socks... socks that dont match!... not sure how i feel yet.

ive wanted to try these polishes for like ever! so when i saw this on FB i jumped on the opportunity.  They all applied nicely and even in just two coats.  My favorite is skylar and erika.  Both unique colors at least unique in my collection.  Also i should mention these polishes are BIG5FREE.  Free of nasty harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, resin, toluene etc etc.

AERIN Beauty Face & Eye Palette

Aerin beauty face and eye palette described on the Aerin website as "Easy and versatile, this pretty palette of five skin-loving, light-enhancing shades of bronze, beige, pink and lavender add subtle glow in one sweep to eyes and cheeks."  quote from aerin website

I was so excited to finally pick up something from this line.  This retails for 70 US dollars and unfortunately i am not impressed.  The shades are a slightly powdery and on the lids they arent too pigmented.  Although the pink shade on the cheeks is very pretty when built up and the larger dark nude is a nice bronzer/contour.

The shades  all can be worn on the eyes or the face for a simply light coloring. This would be best suited for VERY light skin toned folks.

YSL KISS&BLUSH NO. 2 ROSE FRIVOLE

Below is one of the new YSL KISS&BLUSH  lip and cheeks soft matte in color no. 2 Rose Frivole.  On my lips this color is a barbie pink with blue undertones.  On my checks its a pretty soft flush pink.  So far these only seem to be available on the Nordstrom website.  I could be wrong but that's where ill link you.  Check them out here ---->   ysl babydoll kiss&blush

Personally i feel this is just ok im not over the moon over it like everyone is going on about these... makeup and perfumes are like art its all personal ;0)

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Perfume

 
Can we please talk about this fragrance for a minute?

I didn't think i would like it.  I'm not normally attracted to musky masculine scents unless they are on men!  

Gentlemen take note we LOVE when yall smell yummy! 

However, this one i kept going back to every time i walked into a sephora.  

There are two versions of this perfume: NIRVANA BLACK & NIRVANA WHITE.  They're meant to complement each other and worn together if you wanted.  

The white is a very typical floral feminine scent.  I wasn't too attracted to it in fact im not drawn to overly floral scents unless its rose. 


When i purchase perfumes i usually am drawn to very sweet scents.  The black version as i mentioned has a masculine touch to it but its still very feminine.  The notes in this one are violet, sandalwood, and vanilla.   Its very warm and sweet and complements my body chemistry nicely (at least i think so)



Its definitely worth a whiff ...

You guys i like this so much i upgraded to the next size... 30ml (since i still had the 15% off discount why not right).  There are 3 in total.  there is a much larger one but thats 75bucks no thank you.  I have many perfumes now,  this will last me FOREVERRRRRRR!
